Stayed at this charming chateau with stunning river views. Free WiFi kept me well-connected while sipping my continental breakfast on the terrace. The shared lounge was a bonus for mingling with fellow guests.
Missing the vibrant village life with no nearby bars or restaurants. Just the serene countryside.

Situated deep in the forest, Chateau De La Faye offers a peaceful and secluded location, perfect for a getaway. the rooms are spacious and clean, with modern and high-quality bathrooms. the breakfast options are delicious, including freshly baked bread, jams, and croissants. guests have the freedom to explore the beautiful grounds, which are surrounded by a vast forest. It truly is a unique and magical experience.
The nearest restaurants and shops are quite far away, so it can be a bit inconvenient if you're looking for a quick bite to eat or need to pick up some essentials.

We had an incredible stay at a grand chateau with a beautiful modern refurbishment. Our huge room had a terrace overlooking the river, providing a stunning view. Patricia and Jean Ives, the managers of the property, were charming and extremely accommodating. They made us feel welcome and provided everything we needed, from cutlery to information about the available rooms. the rooms and bathrooms were spacious, clean, and well, maintained. the public area was enjoyable and well, furnished. Breakfast, served by Patricia, was delightful and included a variety of options. the bed was comfortable and the bathroom had modern, high, quality amenities.
It was a fantastic experience. Cons: Nothing to fault.

The room at Chateau De La Faye was so cozy and inviting. I loved the seating area and balcony, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning. And the flat-screen TV was a great addition for unwinding after a long day of exploring. Plus, the sofa was super comfy, making it the perfect spot to relax and read a book.
Personally, I found the flat-screen TV to be a bit too small for my liking. But hey, that's just my opinion and I'm sure others would still find it enjoyable.
